Graphic45/K & Company Trinket Box

A couple of weeks ago my friend Nic  (A French Accent) from the Topsham Flea Market asked me to make one of my Trinket Boxes for herself.

She gave me some ideas of style and colours she would like, so last week I set too and made this Box

I used one of the Graphic45 Staples Book Boxes .....

She didn't want the Tag inside, so I have put this aside ready to make a Tag Album with it.

I used Papers from K & Company and then some Cut Aparts from Graphic45 Sweet Sentiments 8" x 8" Paper Pad .....

She didn't want too much embellishment on the Box as this is going to be an every day use Box.

I know she wanted to be able to put her change in the Box, so as you can see, I lined the base of the Box with Cork to give it more durability!

She loved it!

Nic makes some gorgeous Handmade Gifts and Accessories.  Original designs with an accent on French Romantic/Rustic Style

Pop over and have a look on her  Facebook Page

This is just a VERY small sample of her work .....

Tip for Today

I just wanted to share a tip with you.

A few months ago I picked up some Bead Caps in a Sale.  I don't "do" beading, but they were such a bargain I was tempted!

The other day I was having a sort out of my stash, as you do, and came across them again!

I thought "I MUST be able to do something with them!"

This picture is similar to the ones I have .....

Then, for some reason, I pushed it down in the middle and it easily opened up and left me with a perfect light weight small round flower shape!  Perfect for any paper crafting project!

There are so many colours, shapes and designs of Bead Caps out there.  I know I shall be looking out for some more!

I haven't used one yet, but I WILL !
